More than 100 000 Kazakhstani people annually visit European states- MFA
Astana. October 15. KazTAG - Yerlan Idrisov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has conducted negotiations with Luis de la Pena, managing director on European states and Central Asia of the European service of foreign actions.
"The main theme of negotiations was the result of the visit of the President to Brussels on October 8-9 when political statements on successful completion of negotiation process has been signed concerning expanded partnership and cooperation between Kazakhstan and EU and on completion of bilateral negotiations with EU within the frameworks of the process of Kazakhstan accession in the WTO," reads the message.
The parties discussed the prospects of visa regime facilitation which will boost intensification and deepening of political, economic and cultural-humanitarian dialogue between Kazakhstan and EU.
"More than 100 000 Kazakhstani people visit European states every year. Due to this, the question of facilitation of visa procedures gains a special interest. The acting visa regime between Kazakhstan and EU does not meet the realities and aims of development of political and economic dialogue," said Idrisov.
