Astana. April 29. KazTAG - More than 100 officials were dismissed in Kazakhstan as advised by disciplinary councils in 2013, said Alikhan Baimenov, chair of the agency on state service affairs.

"More than 100 were dismissed on a submission from disciplinary council," he said.

In his words, the legislation was improved last year.

"Before the updates, akim, or head of a department, could reply to the recommendations of disciplinary councils or ignore them. For the first time we set the term in 2013, during this time the recommendations of disciplinary councils must be considered," he said.
