More than 200 Kazakhstani scientists living abroad
Astana. July 3. KazTAG - 232 Kazakhstani scientists are living abroad, reports the Ministry of Education and Science.
"232 Kazakhstani scientists are living abroad (according to information database as of 2013)," reads the written reply to KazTAG request.
The majority of Kazakhstani scientists live in Russia-69, the US-59 and Germany-23.
The Ministry reported that a complex of measures for attraction of foreign talents is being developed including stimulation of return of successful domestic scientists to Kazakhstan.
The complex of measures will be developed until the end of the year.
Since the launch of "Bolashak" program 6943 Kazakhstani citizens have got education abroad, 6051 graduates are being monitored by MES.
"They are working off in Kazakhstan," said the Ministry.
People who received education on the program must work off in Kazakhstan for 5 years.
