More than 200 orphans were unreasonably denied housing in Astana

Astana. August 14. KazTAG – More than 200 orphans were unreasonably denied housing in Astana, reports the press service of the prosecutor's office.
“The authorized body, in violation of Article 71 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Housing Relations,” unreasonably refused to put orphans on the housing queue,” said the prosecutors.
This was explained by the lack of registration of persons under fourteen years of age, as well as the presence of registered property for guardians who are not family members.
As a result of prosecutorial supervision, more than 200 orphans have been put on the housing queue.
