"Since March 1 of this year, more than 5.4 million cubic meters of water have been pumped out, 855 thousand sacks and 44 thousand tons of inert materials have been laid. Work has also been carried out to clean about 843 thousand meters of drainage ditches. During the flood period, 638 people were evacuated, including 139 children. 380 people returned home, including 101 children. 252 people, including 38 children, are staying in temporary accommodation centers and with relatives,” reads the report.
Three overflows remain under control on highways in the North Kazakhstan region.
