More than 383 000 of Kazakhstani people have lower revenues that subsistence level in Kazakhstan
Astana. March 13. KazTAG - According to the poll, 2.2% (383 400 people) had revenues which are lower than the subsistence level in the 4th quarter 2014, 0.1% below the same period 2013, reports the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy. According to the statistics data, the share of population whose revenues are lower the subsistence level in rural area has been higher than in the cities by more than 4 times and made up 3.9% (300800 people).
The majority of poor people live in South Kazakhstan region (5.2%), Atyrau region (3.1%), Kyzylroda region (3.1%), West-Kazakhstan region (2.9%), in Almaty the share is 0.2%, in Astana- 0.1%.
