More than 5000 employees of electoral commissions of Afghanistan dismissed for swindle
Almaty. May 26. KazTAG - More than 5000 employees of electoral commissions of Afghanistan have been dismissed for swindle, reports the Afghanistan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG).
"The independent electoral commission of Afghanistan dismissed 5388 its employees on suspicion of swindle during the first round of elections. Many Afghan policemen including high ranked officials were dismissed for violations," said Yusuf Nuristani, head of electoral commission.
He said the list of personnel of security service and officials involved in swindle at the elections was sent to the Minister of Internal Affairs.
Nuristani called the candidates to prevent possible aggravation of interethnic relations during the last tour of the elections.
