Mortgage housing loans in Kazakhstan decreased by 6% in Q1

Astana. April 30. KazTAG – Mortgage housing loans to individuals as of April 1, compared to the beginning of 2024, decreased by 6%, reads the National Bank.
“Mortgage housing loans to individuals, including non-residents, as of April 1, compared to the beginning of 2024, decreased by 6%, to KZT48.3 billion,” reads the report.
Loans from mortgage organizations to individuals, including loans for other purposes, amounted to KZT185.3 billion as of April 1. Of these, loans for which there were no overdue debts amounted to KZT170 billion, or about 92%.
