Mortgage loans increased by almost 4% in October - National Bank of Kazakhstan

Astana. November 28. KazTAG - Mortgage lending to Kazakhstani people by second-tier banks increased by 3.8% in October 2022, more than in September, reports the National Bank.
“Mortgage lending to Kazakhstani people by second-tier banks increased in October 2022 by 3.8% or KZT166 billion, to KZT4.4 trillion,” said the regulator.
Almost all loans were issued in tenge, in foreign currency – only for KZT1.4bn.
Also, almost all loans are long-term, short-term loans were issued only for KZT4.5bn.
