National Bank adopts rules to determine procedure for export-import currency control in Kazakhstan

Almaty. April 30. KazTAG - The National Bank has adopted the rules for export-import currency control in Kazakhstan, which entered into force on July 1, 2019, reports the press service of the National Bank.
"The rules were developed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 2, 2018 " On currency regulation and currency control "and provide  the procedure for  export-import currency control in the Republic of Kazakhstan," reads the statement.
“The rules include the procedure for: obtaining account numbers for currency contracts for export or import; monitoring the repatriation requirements of foreign exchange contracts for export or import; monitoring traffic of money and other fulfillment of obligations under currency contracts for export or import; deregistration of foreign exchange contracts for export or import ", reads the statement.
