Nazarbayev appointed new ambassador to Iran

Astana. January 11. KazTAG - Askhat Orazbay has been appointed as an ambassador of Kazakhstan to Iran, Akorda reports.
"By the order of the President, Askhat Orazbay has been appointed as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Kazakhstan to Iran, he has been relieved of the post of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Indonesia and Philippines," reads the statement.
A. Orazbay worked as an ambassador to Indonesia since 2012, to Philippines since 2015. In 2008-2012 he worked as an ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan.
