Nazarbayev attended new sports objects in Aktobe

Astana. October 16. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has attended a new ice palace and a tennis center in Aktobe, reports Akorda.
"The President watched the new city ice arena, constructed with involvement of Slovakian investors within the frameworks of the state-private partnership. N. Nazarbayev congratulated young hockey players and all inhabitants of Aktobe on opening of the ice palace and made a commemorative inscription on a symbolic puck," the message reports.
The sports complex 8500 sq.m large can host professional competitions on hockey, short-track, figure skating, basketball, mini-football, box-tennis, gymnastics and mass ice skating. The capacity of the arena is 2500 viewers.
The President has also attended ACE Tennis center constructed within the frameworks of the state-private partnership and marked that opening of the objects of sport infrastructure will contribute into popularization of healthy mode of life and raise the level of tennis development in the state.
