Nazarbayev discussed new technologies for digitalization projects with head of the Finnish corporation

Astana. October 17. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, on arrival in Helsinki, met with Risto Siilasmaa, chairman of the board of Nokia Corporation , Akorda reports.
"The parties have discussed introduction of new communication technologies, including the 5G standard, when implementing projects on digitization of economic sectors and development of innovation ecosystem," reads the message.
N. Nazarbayev noted that the company is considered in  Kazakhstan as a reliable partner. “Since 2007, Nokia has been cooperating with our country. Today, the company's turnover is $ 20 billion," he said.
N. Nazarbayev told the head of the company that Kazakhstan had set  the task to increase labor productivity by introducing automation, robotization and artificial intelligence into the production process, and the state also focused on performance  of the state program “Digital Kazakhstan”.
In turn, R. Siilasmaa expressed high interest in cooperation with Kazakhstani companies.
