Nazarbayev ordered to boost work on withdrawal of undeveloped land in Astana
Astana. April 25. KazTAG - Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev ordered Astana akim and other authorized state bodies to boost work on withdrawal of undeveloped land territories in the capital.
"According to the data presented by the General Prosecutor's Office, more than 800 land territories 15 000 hectares large are undeveloped in the city (...) We must continue work on their withdrawal. As of today 254 territories of 9000 hectares have been withdrawn. These lands must be given to investors who will build there with pleasure," he said.
He added many owners re-registered their land to relatives and other people after getting notifications. "They register land to their relatives and other people, thus we must work jointly in order to solve this issue and stop manipulations. 142 land territories 2000 hectares large have been re-registered. Should we adopt it legislatively or through the decision of the city administration?" he said.
In his words, some undeveloped land territories turned into spontaneous dumps.
