Nazarbayev ordered to increase size of targeted social aid to 70% of subsistence level
Astana. February 27. KazTAG - Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, has ordered to increase the size of targeted social aid to 70% of the subsistence level.
"Today 11 000 families or 527 000 people get the targeted social aid from the Government. I order the Government to extend the coverage of poor families, especially families with many children, raise the criteria of targeted social aid to 70% of the subsistence level," said N. Nazarbayev at the XVIII session of Nur Otan party.
He has also ordered to fix the minimal payment for each child in the families with many children at the level of 21 000 tenge.
He has also ordered to facilitate the procedures of application for targeted social aid.
In his words, this year the targeted social aid will cover over 830 000 people, including almost 550 000 children.
