Nazarbayev signed law "On cinematography"
Astana. January 3. KazTAG- Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, has signed the law "On cinematography", Akorda reports.
"The President has signed the law "On cinematography" targeted at provision of legal base in the field of cinematography," reads the message.
As it was reported, the law "On cinematography" and appropriate amendments targeted on support of domestic cinema, including creation of the state center of support of national cinema were adopted by Parliament of Kazakhstan on December 6. The founder and shareholder will be the Government.
The center will be a single operator for provision of state financial support for cinema projects pretending for recognition as national films and subsidizing.
An expert council will be created under the center, while Kazakhfilm will operate as a cinema factory.
