Negotiations initiated with potential suppliers for construction of nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan

Astana. November 6. KazTAG – Negotiations have been initiated with potential suppliers for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan,  reports the Ministry of Energy.
“Currently, negotiations have started with potential suppliers included in the “short list” according to the competitive dialogue procedure, which will allow us to discuss all aspects of cooperation - from technical to economic and legal issues,” said the press service of the department.
The format will allow us to choose the optimal solution that meets the national interests of Kazakhstan.
The final decision on the choice of a supplier or consortium for the NPP construction project will be made in 2025, the Ministry of Energy said.
