Negotiations on Iranian nuclear dossier went in ambiguity atmosphere in Geneva
Almaty. February 23. KazTAG - John Kerry, US State Secretary and Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, have held bilateral negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program in Geneva, report the foreign mass media sources.
The meeting lasted for several hours. The negotiations also involved head of organization of atomic energy of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi and US Minister of Energy Ernest Moniz. The negotiations went in the atmosphere of ambiguity and left a number of questions unresolved.
The meeting was held on the threshold of negotiations between Iranian representatives and "six powers" including Russia, US, China, Great Britain, Germany and France.
The mass media reminded, in the time of negotiations in 2013 Iran agreed to stop the reactor construction in Arak, freeze the nuclear program for 6 months and liquidate the uranium stocks enriched to 20 percent level. Iran was opened access to previously frozen accounts of state institutions and companies to $700 mln a month. Teheran, in turn, promised to enrich uranium not higher than 5 percent level.
