Almaty. February 9. KazTAG - The negotiations on Iranian nuclear program are in the critical phase, said Federica Mogerini, high EU representative on foreign affairs and security policy at the security conference in Munich, reports the TASS news agency.
"We have stepped into the critical phase of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program," she said.
In her words, "the solution of Iranian problem will open big opportunities for cooperation in bilateral format and on the regional level".
Meanwhile, according to Javad Zarif, Iranian Foreign Minister, the negotiations on the nuclear program must go in parallel with sanctions withdrawal.
"The sanctions did not bring any results, the only way to resolution is negotiations. The parties have achieved significant progress in it," he said.
He added the main goal- "is to provide exclusively peaceful character of the nuclear program". He also added that the IAEA " has not found any signs that nuclear program has non peaceful character".
"We had to sacrifice a lot to prove the peaceful character of the program," he said.
In his words, "the sanctions caused damage to the EU, USA and global economy".
