Negotiations on problematic issues of mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Russia are underway - Sagintayev
Astana. February 11. KazTAG - The negotiations concerning problematic issues of bilateral trade are underway with Russia, said Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Vice Premier of Kazakhstan.
"The fourth block of many companies' questions is connected with weakening of Russian ruble and demand decline for Kazakhstani products. Following agreements reached during your phone talks with Vladimir Putin ( of Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev-KazTAG) on February 9 this year you gave a number of orders to solve the current questions of mutual trade with Russia. The Government has initiated negotiations concerning development of mutually beneficial solutions with the Russian side," said Sagintayev.
"Entrepreneurs raise additional issues which need urgent solution from the side of the Government this year. First- it is a block concerning pinpointed support of the companies through reduction of electricity fees and railway transportation, provision of privileges at the trade objects for the local manufacturers," he said.
In his words, the decisions have been taken concerning provision of privileged fees for railway transportations, electric power for certain companies and imposition of temporary ban on export of metal scrap and gold consisting crude products.
