Net profit of "KazTransOil" lowered by 9.6% in Q1
Almaty. June 2. KazTAG - The net profit of "KazTransOil" made up 15.140 bln tenge in January-March 2014, 9.6% down year on year.
"The revenues of "KazTransOil" made up 41 bln 352 mln tenge in Q1 2014, 0.4% down year on year. The net profit of "KazTransOil" made up 15 bln 140 mln tenge by the results of Q1 2014, 9.6% down in comparison to Q1 2013," reads the message posted on the site of Kazakhstani Stock Exchange.
The consolidated earning made up 45.385 bln tenge by the result of Q1 2014, 3.6% down year on year. The consolidated net profit made up 5.76 bln tenge, 75% down year on year.
"Reduction of consolidated profit is connected with loss from jointly controlled companies. In the result of tenge devaluation the Kazakhstani-Chinese pipeline had a loss from the currency rate difference in the result of recalculation of financial liabilities (loans) in the US dollar" reads the message.
