Network of pre-school organizations increased due to private mini-centers in Kazakhstan

Astana. October 21. KazTAG - The networks of pre-school organizations has increased due to private mini-centers, reports the Ministry of Education and Science.
"The coverage in the field of preschool education has increased due to expansion of the network of preschool organizations, including through increase of private kindergartens. In the time of performance of the state program, the network of preschool organizations has increased by 1839 due to construction of kindergartens, opening of private kindergartens, mini centers and other organizations. The coverage with preschool education has increased by 13.6%," said Askhat Aimagambetov, Minister of Education and Science.
In his words, 10 673 preschool organizations, including 6 470 kindergartens, 4203 mini-centers worked as of October 1.
Public-private partnership is a priority in development of preschool education.
"Work on attraction of business in the field of education has been underway lately. 38.2% of preschool organizations are private, it is 18.1% higher than in 2015 (20.1%). New sanitary norms and rules were adopted in 2017 to facilitate the procedure of opening and operation of private kindergartens," said the Ministry.
