New and secondary housing in Kazakhstan increased in price by approximately 20% and 26% for the year

Astana.  August 8. KazTAG - New and secondary housing in Kazakhstan increased in price by approximately 20% and 26% for the year, reports the statistics agency.
“Over the year (July 2022 to July 2021), the prices of apartments in the secondary market increased by 26.4%, sales of new housing - by 19.6%. The rent for comfortable housing in July 2022 increased by 20.8% compared to the same month last year," reads the report.
The prices in the primary housing market in annual terms rose significantly in Aktobe by 32.5%, Nur-Sultan - by 27.6%, Ust-Kamenogorsk - by 26.1%. In the secondary housing market, the leaders in price growth are Kyzylorda (44%), Ust-Kamenogorsk (43.7%), Taldykorgan (43.4%) and Nur-Sultan (41.3%), and in the housing rental market - Almaty ( 47.2%).
