“By the decision of the Board of Directors of Kazakhmys Holding LLP, Nurakhmet Nuriyev has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP. He replaced Eduard Ogay, who was in charge of the company from 2006, at this post.
The central office will be located in Zhezkazgan.
From 2019 to 2020, Nuriyev worked as Deputy Director of the UMG Taraz branch of Intergas Central Asia JSC, Deputy Director of the Tariff Setting and Investment Policy Department of Kaztransgaz JSC. He began his career in Kazakhmys Corporation in 2020 as the head of the project team. In June 2021, he was appointed General Director of Kazakhmys Smelting LLP.
