New mayor to be elected in Bishkek
Almaty. January 11. KazTAG - A new mayor will be elected in Bishkek on Wednesday, reports KyrTAG.
"The deputies of Biskhek's city kenesh will elect the mayor of the capital of Kyrgyzstan. There are two candidates - Albek Ibraimov, acting as a mayor, and temporarily unemployed Nurdin Abdyldayev. The first one has been promoted by the coalition of majority, the second one has been promoted by the opposition fraction Onoguu-Progress," the message reports.
A candidate needs to get at least 23 votes of 45 to become a mayor.
As it was reported, Albek Ibraimov was elected as Bishkek mayor on February 27 2016.
