No indexation of pensions and recalculation of credits in foreign currency will be conducted in Kazakhstan - Kelimbetov
Astana. April 17. KazTAG - No indexation of pension accumulations and recalculation of banking credits in foreign currency will follow tenge devaluation in Kazakhstan, said Kairat Kelimbetov, chairman of the National Bank.
"If you ask the National Bank - we do not plan any recalculations. We have no plans of indexation in the USPF," he said at the briefing in the central communications service.
In his words, credits given in foreign currency won't be recalculated following tenge devaluation in 2009 and 2014.
"It is a decision of second tier banks. And USPF - there is a question of future assets diversification - it will be reflected in the new concept (of financial sector development until 2030-KazTAG). But there have been no solutions on the previous period," he said.
