Nominal income of Kazakhs in April increased by 9% in annual terms - Statistics Agency

KazTAG - Per capita nominal income of the population of Kazakhstan in April 2014, according to preliminary data, amounted to T60 242, an increase compared with the corresponding month in 2013 made up to 9%, real incomes rose by 2.3%, indicates the report of the Kazakh Statistics Agency .
According to the statistics, the leading positions in the size of per capita income in April occupy Atyrau, Mangistau oblast and Almaty, where the figure exceeded the average by 1.7-2.2 times.
Among the most low-income regions is South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Almaty region, where the value of income by 20-40% below the national level. However, the highest growth rate of real income of the population observed in the Atyrau and Mangistau regions.
The ratio between the maximum and minimum values of the nominal income by region in April 2014 was 3.7 times (April 2013 - 3.2 times).
