Non-cash payment is unavailable in Ile-Alatau national park, fares have not been decreased

Almaty. August 6. KazTAG - People are charged 452 tenge in cash for entering Ile-Alatau national park.
Bakytzhan Sagintayev, akim of Almaty, inspected the national park on July 19 2019, then the akimat of Almaty reported about automated system of payment installed at the entry to the National Park.
"The system will provide 100 percent cashless entry to the park, eliminate shade exactions, and reduce the number of staff at the checkpoints. The automated system will provide online payment through the mobile apps and prepayment. Tourists can also pay with Onay cards.
D. Malgeldiyev, director general of Ile-Alatau State National Natural Park, said to KazTAG on August 1 that QIWI-terminal, Kaspi app, Homebank app and others are available for cashless payment.
However, KazTAG reporters visited the Ile -Alatau National Park and discovered that none of the terminals was in operation, while people were charged by employees of the checkpoint without giving any receipts.
