"The NSC carried out investigative and operational measures in a criminal case registered under clause 2 of part 2 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan in respect of akim of the Pavlodar region Bakauov on the fact of power abuse. Investigations are underway, ” reads the statement.
KazTAG with a reference to a source in the Ekibastuz akimat reported that Bakauov did not arrive to a planned arrangement on January 15 in Ekibastuz on the background of the information that he and his assistant were detained by NSC.
