Number of passenger cars entering Kazakhstan from Russia increased by 20% since September 21

Astana. September 23. KazTAG - the number of passenger cars entering Kazakhstan from Russia has increased by 20% since September 21, reported the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance.
“From September 21, 2022, there has been an increase in the number of vehicles travelling from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan by 20%,” reads the message.
There have been congestions on some sections of the border with Russia at the entrance to Kazakhstan in Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions.
