Number of unemployed people in the world will increase to 212 mln by 2019 - World Labor Organization
Almaty. January 20. KazTAG - The number of unemployed people will increase to 212 mln by 2019 from current 201 mln, reports the International Labor Organization in the report entitled "Global employment and social perspective: tendencies of 2015", reports the TASS news agency.
Unemployment growth in the future years, according to the authors, will be conditioned by a few factors in the world economy: decelerated growth, increase in revenues inequality, and growing instability.
"More than 61 mln workplaces were lost since the crisis started in 2008, according to our prognosis unemployment will keep on growing until the end of the decade. Unemployment crisis is not over," said WLO general director.
