Astana. October 22. KazTAG - The quarantine hospital of Nur-Sultan has received about 2 thousand air passengers, reports the press service of the city administration.
“The citizens of Kazakhstan who arrived  on international flights without a PCR test are sent to the quarantine hospital (the former building of Ramada Plaza), where they are tested for coronavirus infection. As of today, the institution has already received about 2 thousand air passengers," reads the report.
A total of three arriving passengers have been tested positive.
“We arrived this morning on a flight from Sharm el-Sheikh to Nur-Sultan. We did not have a PCR test available, so we were placed in a quarantine hospital. We will stay here until we get the results. I think this is an important measure. First, to be tested. Secondly, in order to protect family and friends, ”said Gulmira Yergazina, inhabitant of Nur-Sultan.
