Officials in Issyk Kul region will travel by bicycles
Almaty. April 17. KazTAG - The officials in Tupsk village in Issyk-Kul region have been provided with bicycles, reports the KyrTAG news agency.
"Our settlement is about 5-6 km long, and our employees have to walk all this distance on foot. Due to this we have shifted into bicycles," said Sovetbek Ismailov, head of Tupsk village.
He indicated the advantages of the innovation- first they safe time, second they do not use cars, and it means they do not pollute the ecology, third, they show example to the local residents, fourth- they save budget funds.
"We have 12 bicycles for 22 employees. It is enough because other 10 employees basically work in the offices. I haven't shifted into bicycle yet. But I plan to do it soon," he added.
