Oil export from Iran exceeds 1 mln barrels a day
Almaty. November 4. KazTAG - The volumes of export of Iranian oil has exceeded 1 mln barrels a day since toughening of the Western sanctions against the oil and gas and banking sectors of Iran in 2010, reports the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG).
In October this year Iran shipped more than 1 mln barrels of oil a day to the Asian markets. The main consumers of Iranian oil have been China, India, Japan and South Korea.
According to the Reuters data, Iran daily exported 1.08 mln barrels of crude oil and gas condensate to its four Asian clients last month.
Before introduction of sanctions against Teheran by the Western states, the daily volume of oil export from Iran was equal to at least 2.5 mln barrels a day.
