Oil production at Kashagan reached 370 thousand barrels per day
Almaty. June 4. KazTAG - Oil production at Kashagan has reached 370,000 barrels per day, informed the press service of the North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC).
“After the re-opening of the first production well at the Kashagan offshore complex, as a result of the safe and successful completion of the first major overhaul, oil production gradually increased and reached 370,000 barrels of oil per day,” - a statement said on Tuesday.
It is noted that, in general, the overall level of operational reliability "remains high and continues to exceed the expected performance, with special attention being paid to safety".
Recall, in 2019 Kashagan plans to produce almost 13 million tons of oil and 8 billion cubic meters of gas.
