Oil revenues of Iran dropped by 4 times
Almaty. February 12. KazTAG The revenues of state budget of Iran coming from oil export have dropped by approximately 4 times, reports the Regnum agency.
From March 21 2014 until January 20 2015 oil production volume dropped by 2.6 mln barrels in Iran, up to 1 mln barrel per day, oil prices decreased from $100 to $40 per barrel.
"The Iranian economy is in difficult but quite specific situation," said Hamid Chitchiyan, Minister of Energy of Iran, adding that Iran will continue moving forward overcoming difficulties.
In his words, the volume of non oil export increased by 25% in 10 months year on year, to $46 bln.
In his opinion, the figure indicates high economic potential of Iran and weakened dependence on oil revenues.
