Oncological incidence increased by 12.9% in North Kazakhstan region within a year

Petropavlovsk. November 14. KazTAG - Oncological incidence increased by almost 13% within a year in the North Kazakhstan region.
"Oncological incidence amounted to 266.8 per 100 0000 people (1476 cases), 12.9% higher than the same period last year (236.4 or 1318 cases) under the average republican level at 193.3. The share of people elder than 65 amounted to 47.1%, the share of people aged over 65 who died of oncological diseases amounted to 45.3%," said Timur Sultangaziyev, head of health care department of the North Kazakhstan region.
"The five year survival rate has improved, it made 54.4% (52.1$ in 2018), in Kazakhstan - 51.3%. The share of advanced stage of diseases has lowered: 8.5% in North Kazakhstan region, 11.9% in Kazakhstan," he said.
