Only quarter of Kazakhstan's medicine complies with plan for 2021 - deputy

Astana. December 2. KazTAG – The socio-economic effect planned for 2021 in the health care of Kazakhstan and strategic indicators have been achieved only to 25%,  said Olga Perepechina, Senate deputy.
“Despite 100% achievement of the results of the National Project and implementation of activities to 89%,  socio-economic effect and strategic indicators planned for 2021 have been achieved to only 25%, and the main indicators of public health have a negative trend,” said Perepechina, speaking at the Government Hour on Affordable and Efficient Healthcare in the Senate.
Life expectancy in Kazakhstan has decreased, infant and maternal mortality has increased, the level of satisfaction of the population with the quality and availability of medical services amounted to 57.7%.
The number of complaints from citizens more than doubled, from 7.8 thousand to 17.5 thousand in 2020-2021.
