"This year, three new production facilities are planned to be localized in the country, together with the following global manufacturers of original goods that are most in demand in the oil and gas industry with the companies Leser (Germany), Beruseal (South Africa), John Crane (USA)," Akenzhenov said at a government meeting.
According to him, these projects will create 34 new jobs and attract $3 million in investment.
Also, according to the data, in the short term until 2027, localization is planned with Hi Air Korea, Slb (USA), Baker Hughes (USA), Breda Energia (Italy), Flowserve (USA), Swagelok (USA).
It is noted that these six projects will create about 127 new jobs and attract $17.5 million in investments. In 2022-2023, five production facilities were localized: Wika (Germany), Honeywell (USA), Petrol Valves (Italy), Sigma Solutions LLP (Kazakhstan) in partnership with N.Vent (USA), Eltherm (Germany), and Schneider Electric (France). Their implementation made it possible to create 177 new jobs, attract $13.8 million in investments, but most importantly, to acquire competence in the production and release of goods with high added value within the country.
