According to KazTAG reporter, over 20 people were detained on the intersection of Abay and Baitursynov streets.
Another report said that about 180 people were detained in the district of the Old Square on Wednesday.
Baiterek monument in Nur-Sultan was fenced and surrounded by police, while Zhastar youth palace has been cordoned for four days.
