Almaty. April 21. KazTAG - A participant of the 3rd charity marathon "Courage of being a leader" which took place in Almaty on Sunday was taken to an intensive care department, other 17 people applied for medical aid, reports the city station of emergency call center.
"17 people applied for medical aid, 5 of them were taken to medical institution, 1 of them was hospitalized in the intensive care department," reads the message.
According to Gaukhar Nikerbekova, head of press-service of the station of emergency call center, 25 year old Chinese fainted at the final straight.
"He has gained consciousness," she said.
The charity marathon which involved 9000 people was held in Almaty on April 20.
