People in Kazakhstan owe more than 11 bn tenge for utilities in Kazakhstan

Astana. September 23. KazTAG - The consumers in Kazakhstan owe more than 11 bn tenge for utilities, said Beibut Atamkulov, Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
"Up to date the debt for utilities makes 11.4 bn tenge. The highest debt is in Almaty (2.6 bn tenge), Nur-Sultan (1.7 bn tenge), Mangistau region (1.5 bn tenge) and Shymkent (1.3 bn tenge). The debt has grown up in Almaty by 533 mln tenge in comparison to 2018 and reduced in Shymkent and Nur-Sultan," he said at the session of the Government.
"Up to date the debt of energy generating organizations to KazTransGas-Aimak makes 6.6 bn tenge. The debt to Bogatyr Komir makes 239 mln tenge for coal supply. Ekibastuz GRES-2 owes 90 mln tenge for coal, Petropavlovsk HES Sevkazenergy-64 mln tenge, Kokshetau Zhylu - 46 mln tenge, Stepnogorsk HES- 39 mln tenge," said Makhambet Dosmukhambetov, First Vice Minister of Energy.
