Astana. April 22. KazTAG - People with symptoms of measles and rubella keep on applying for medical aid in Astana, reports the department on protection of consumers' rights.

"Sick people with symptoms similar to measles and rubella keep on applying for medical aid in April. People are hospitalized to the infection hospital to avoid sequela," reads the reply to KazTAG request.

 According to the department the morbidity is basically registered "among adults who were not vaccinated". Individual cases were registered among school and kindergarten children.

Anti-epidemic and prophylactic arrangements are being conducted in order to provide people's vaccination.

"By the order of the Ministry of Health Care planned vaccination for measles is provided for children aged 9 months," reads the message.

According to the department for protection of consumers' rights 45 cases of measles were registered in 3 months in Astana.
