Pilot of "Tajik Air" died while landing in Aktobe
Aktobe. May 22. KazTAG - A pilot of "Tajik Air" company died while landing in Aktobe, said Vladimir Bezrodniy, first deputy chair of Aktobe International Airport.
"Boeing-757 of Tajik Air company landed for planned refueling in Aktobe airport on May 15 at 21.31. The aircrafts of this company en route "Dushanbe-Moscow" are refueled in the airport," he said.
"The second pilot of reserve crew said that they had dinner with the commander and napped. He was awakened by wheeze of the commander. The pilot felt bad and his heart stopped. One of the passengers was a doctor and tried to deliver medical aid to 54 year old Alexander Zhobin," he added.
Bezdorniy indicated there were two crews aboard the plane: one crew flies to Moscow, while reserve crew works on the way back to Dushanbe.
"As soon as the crew reported to the land services about a sick man in critical condition aboard ambulance arrived to the airport, however they could not help Zhobin," he said.
The body of the man was sent to medical forensic expertise which showed the man died of heart attack. His body was sent to Moscow on the same day.
