"Pobeda Rocket" with Soyuz MS-27 manned spacecraft installed at Baikonur launch complex

Baikonur. April 7. KazTAG - The Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Soyuz MS-27 manned transport spacecraft has been installed at the launch complex of site 31 of the cosmodrome.
"The removal of the rocket, which has posters in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and was named the "Victory Rocket", began at 7.30 am Astana time from the assembly and testing building 40 of site 31. After the rocket was delivered by rail to the launch complex of site 31, specialists from Russian rocket and space industry enterprises successfully installed it in launch system No. 6 in a vertical position two hours later," a source at the cosmodrome reported.
"In the next two days, cosmodrome specialists will conduct final checks of the launch complex and launch vehicle systems," said the representative of the Russian space industry.
The process of installing the rocket on the launch pad was traditionally observed by backup crew members: Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, Sergey Mikayev, NASA astronaut Christopher Williams.
The main crew: Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Alexey Zubritsky, NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim continued training according to the training plan at the Kosmonavt Hotel.
The crews of the ISS expedition arrived at the cosmodrome on March 21 to conduct the final stage of pre-launch training.
The launch of the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft with the ISS expedition is scheduled for April 8 at 10:46:15 Astana time.
