Almaty. April 22. KazTAG - Police have accused the activists for fair election of "disrespect to the participants of Almaty Marathon.
"Taking into account that any unsanctioned actions can result in threat to people's safety a group of people was revealed on the crossing of al-Farabi and Shashkin streets who were holding the banners with the words "You won't run away from truth", #У меня есть выбор, #ADILSAILAYUSHIN. People started running into the roads wishing to take photos of them creating barriers for the marathon runners: there could be panic and sad consequences. In addition, the violators performed obvious disrespect to the marathon runners," said the police department.
The young people refused to stop the meeting demanded by police.
"They refused to show their documents and say their data. In order to identify them they were taken to the police department of Bostandyk district. Administrative materials were collected in respect of the activists born in 1984 and 1998 under part 3 art.488," said the police.
"Explanatory work was conducted with other participants of the action," said the police.
