Police denies rumors about introduction of two months moratorium on fines for absence of car safety seats
Astana. February 9. KazTAG - The rumors about two month moratorium introduction on fines for absence of car safety seats have been denied by the administration police of MIA.
"There has been no postponement or moratorium and so on. Just currently we are conducting explanatory work, police officers do not register protocols," said Irina Lukyanina, spokeswoman of the committee.
She did not specify when the explanatory work will be completed.
"Since the beginning of the year only 6 protocols have been drawn up in Astana because drivers were transporting children on the front seat without safety seats, this regulation was also in the previous edition... there was a requirement for children transportation below 12 only in special safety devices," she added.
