Poroshenko intends to temporarily stop the fighting in eastern Ukraine

Almaty. June 18. KazTAG - President Poroshenko announced its unilateral cessation of hostilities in the east of the country, said the Internet portal "RBC-Ukraine." 
"Ukrainian troops unilaterally cease fighting in the east of the country, to give the opportunity to disarm the militias, said Poroshenko", - reported the publication on Wednesday. 
Poroshenko noted that the ceasefire will happen in the short term and only after the full control on the Ukrainian-Russian border. 
In addition, according to the publication, Poroshenko announced his intention to encircle Slovyansk. 
"Today we are doing everything to encircle Slovyansk to tapered ring and eliminate those fighters under the leadership of the so-called Strelok (leader of the People's Republic of Donetsk Igor Strelkov - KazTAG), who show resistance to Ukrainian military" - said Poroshenko. 
He noted that he would not give the order to Sloviansk bombardment.
