Astana. October 1. KazTAG - . Due to the epizootic of bird flu, the poultry farms will have to return the received subsidies, said Duysengazy Musin, deputy of the Senate of Parliament.
“It is necessary to support our domestic poultry farmers. By order of the Minister of Agriculture, in accordance with the rules for the development of livestock breeding, increasing the productivity and quality of livestock products, poultry farms producing over 100 million eggs can receive subsidies - T1 and T2  per item.  Due to the reduction in the number of birds associated with bird flu, it is clear that by the end of the year they will not be able to produce 100 million eggs, which in turn leads to the obligation to return the received subsidies," he said.
At the same time, he asked the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan to develop a bird insurance program and take other measures to support poultry farmers.
