President of Belarus had surgery
Almaty. November 24. KazTAG - Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus, had surgery on a knee joint, reports the BELTA news agency.
"The cause of the operation was a sport trauma which he got during one hockey training. The operation was planned, due to tight schedule of the President it was impossible to make it earlier," said Natalya Eismont, press-secretary of the President.
In her words, Lukashenko feels fine. He is staying in the country residence and will need 3-4 days for rehabilitation.
"He is carrying out his duties to the full," she added.
